Slieve League highest sea cliffs in Europe
It has been quite a few years since I have been to Slieve League, the highest cliffs in Europe. It has been on my wish list for some time, so I was delighted when I got the chance to spend an afternoon there recently as part of our break away provided by our children for our 25th wedding anniversary. Lots has changed there, great parking and toilet facilities and the road has improved. What hasn’t changed is what nature has created over centuries, we were blessed with the weather and the views were spectacular. We walked along the cliffs until we found a nice quiet spot and were beyond the crowds to just sit and enjoy. Can’t recommend a visit to Slieve League enough and Killybegs or Donegal town are lovely towns to eat in and do a bit of shopping place. We made a quick stop in Belleek Pottery on the way home another all time favorite of mine.
