Every Year we hold a number of Patchwork Quilting Retreats here at The Old Rectory Country House. If you love sewing this is a great way to learn a new skill and have a lot of fun with like minded people. We offer Patchwork Quilting retreats ourselves and also host a number of Patchwork Quilting Retreats for Quilting groups from all over Ireland. Some groups bring their own tutor with them or use the weekend to finish projects. Our lovely Lakeview Pavilion is an inspiring place to sew surrounded by nature, with yummy home cooked meals and great accommodation for the weekend. Stunning gardens to relax in and an outdoor hot tub to finish off your day in.
We can also provide a tutor for the weekend if you need one.
Patchwork Quilting and sewing in general are making a come back and it is lovely watching groups come to stay and watch their beautiful projects come to life over the weekend.
We also offer one day workshops which include lunch. We can organize a day workshop for your quilting group if you don’t have time for a whole weekend get away.
