It has been a great year at The Old Rectory Country House in Leitrim, with so much happening in many ways, both in our business and our family life. We had so many lovely groups come to stay with us over the past year, our first being a bridge group from Bray. We had quite a few quilting weekends this year with a very successful advanced quilting weekend towards the end of the year with two quilting groups coming together for the weekend. By the end of the weekend it was hard to remember who was with which group they all got along so well together. We had some very imaginative groups for Murder Mystery weekends over the year. Our final weekend of the year was a wonderfully uplifting retreat with a phenomenal group of women. All this year in the background was our new Marquee project and getting ready for its arrival and working towards the business it would provide us over the coming years. It didn’t quite arrive in 2018 but it will be with us on the 7th of January 2019, so that is going to be a very exciting start to 2019. I hope we will see you sometime in 2019 at one of the many weekends we will be hosting or offering this year.
